The North End Cafe

The café was named after the north end of Maroubra beach.
Fresh honest food is our philosophy. All our food including cakes, jams and muffins are home made, and we use Toby's estate coffee.

A place where friends and families meet to swim, surf and play. Whether it be at low tide so the kids can swim and make sand castles in the various natural rock pools or at high tide to play in the shore break while dad catches some waves out the back.
It is a special to locals and visitors alike as generations of toddlers have learnt to swim and surf there.

Hannah & Aaron More owners of “The North End Café” and its sister café “The Bogey Hole Café” in Bronte have lived in the eastern suburbs of Sydney their entire lives. Hannah’s passion for food stems from her mother the original owner of “The Bogey Café” who’s family has been involved in running shops in Bronte and the eastern suburbs since the 1940s. Hannah’s Chinese and Italian heritage has also allowed her to gather a wealth of knowledge when its comes to food..

After moving to Maroubra in early 2000 and raising a family of their own, they began teaching their children to swim and surf at the north end of Maroubra just like they themselves had learnt in the Bogey Hole rock pool all those years ago. So in turn the north end has become like their childhood memories, a favourite place to spend family time.
When the time came to name the café they saw it fitting to name if after a special place in their lives. Just as Hannah’s parents had done way back in 1993.
